He's money smart, not book smart

Couple of quick doodles since i missed HL1's 25th Anniversary yesterday lol

Got an Intuos Pro M after retiring my Intuos S last week; it had been so worn out from my constant grinding as far as drawing goes, which is half the reason why i haven't posted anything new here in a little while. Here's my first doodle with it, a quick expression study for good ol' Toonie. :)

Sorry for the radio silence people, been really worn out after making that Earthbound piece. On top of that, i've been working on smaller commissions to help raise some money for my folks, so that's been eating up some of my time, among other things. Me and my bud Bitterpunk are also starting work on the second chapter for Dawn City, too. So as you can tell, i got a LOT on my plate. Not to worry though, i'll probably have something new eventually.

With the new Art Portal update, my best bud and frequent collaborator Bitterpunk has compiled all of Dawn City's first chapter into two big posts here, on Newgrounds!

For those not in the know, Dawn City, C.A is a slice-of-life/action webcomic centering around three unlikely friends in the middle of a futuristic metropolis in California. The comic features my OC, Cobalt, as a main character, alongside his sarcastic android companion Mynn. The third friend will be shown off in a later chapter we have planned out, but needless to say, hijinx ensues as the trio attempt to live life comfortably in the near future, all the while protecting the city from mad scientists, space mafias, vape-peddling creeps, freaky aliens, and so on!

I forgot to make a post about this, but at the end of last month, i finished my side of work on Chapter 1 for Dawn City, CA! Granted, it'll be a couple weeks before me and my friends release the final pages (we post a new page every saturday at 8), but this still means i am free to work on Arcana in FULL! And i cannot tell you how excited i am to do so!

However, as eager as i am to work on this, i am still balancing out stuff outside of my own work, so progress on pages will be infrequent. I will be releasing pages in batches of 4 though.

You can read Legend of Arcana here! Chapter 1's gonna be a bit slow in terms of goings on, but i hope you all stick around to see what i've got cooking for this story!

Also, small warning: this comic is gonna deal with some heavy subjects from time to time, and will also have a decent amount of blood in it. No ultraviolence mind you, but it's not gonna be a super tame story.
